When we scheduled Whitley’s maternity session, I was thinking spring flowers and golden sunlight. Of course, we didn’t know that the first ‘real’ spring storm would roll through the morning of. We had to make some quick decisions and scheduled an earlier session time; but the storm did her maternity session justice with those beautiful watery roads & sultry green trees.
She chose her own beautiful flowy gown ( which was completely photographer approved 😉 ) and her husband Jon played it cool in a black button down shirt and jeans. The muted colors in her dress worked so well for the day we were given. I am so in love with how this rainy-day maternity session turned out!
Don’t you just love the way Jon looks at Whitley? He seems completely smitten with his bride and the future they hold together!
Whitley and Jon are expecting their first daughter, ‘Baby B’ in early June.
