I recently had the pleasure of photographing my own family. The session was a birthday gift to my Stepmother, they had never had professional portraits, and she had told me a while ago she wanted to get them done. So I thought it was the perfect gift 🙂
Just few days before the I had the gift idea in my head; I’d been driving around Wood County searching for a new photographing location. I’d driven by Governor Jim Hogg park in Quitman several times, I’ve even stopped to let my kids play there, but I had NO idea about the hidden gem of the Quitman Arboretum! When I first drove up and saw the Gazebo, bridge, and Stinson House; I just knew I needed to photograph a family there. I’m so happy the family was mine!
Here are my little twin sisters! They turned 13 this year!!
Are they not gorgeous?
I am trilled to be a part of their lives, and that I have had the opportunity to watch them grow into young adults.
Here’s my even littler sister Ellie! She just turned seven! She loves, loves, LOVES animals!! From her ducks and chickens to kittens and the calfs at Jersey Girls in Winnsboro, she’s not afraid to love on them!
They’ve chosen this image for their framed wall portrait, and are going hang in their dining room!
