Sweet Blaine, Boy Newborn Session – Mineola Texas

I first met Heidi through a Mineola, TX Mom’s group that my friend Cortney started (Cortney’s Fall family session is here).  After talking with Heidi, we found out that we live only a few streets away from each other!  Her daughter Aspen is four and gets along super well with my two girls.  Her son Camden was just 7 months old when I met her, and she was 5 months pregnant with Mr. Blaine!  Yep, you read that right!  Heidi’s boys are 11 months apart!

Heidi and her Husband Justin are doing a wonderful job of raising their three children.  Heidi is a strong and loving mamma, and a survivor of infant loss.  She lost her first child, her son Haylon, at 22 weeks.  Haylon blessed her with 2 1/2 hours of life, and I know she treasures those moments daily in her heart.

They moved to Mineola about 2 years ago from Beaumont, Tx for Justin’s job as an electrician on the pipeline.  Wall space was an important factor when they were searching for a home.  They needed a ton of it for their deer heads!  They have about 7 whitetail and 2 mule deer heads, with numerous European-style mounts on their walls!

Hunting is (obviously) a BIG deal in their family, so when I asked her if there was anything special she wanted to incorporate in Blaine’s newborn session, there had to be some camo going on!  She brought a camouflage blanket to his newborn session in addition to a sweet camo scarf.

Blaine was an amazing baby during his session for being just over 4 weeks old.  He was a happy and sleepy little guy!
