You know when kids take a nap on a long drive? When you try and wake them up but there still in that dreamy state? Yeaaahhh, I’m pretty sure miss Harper was still sleeping 1/2 way through her Mamma’s maternity session. But, to be honest, sometimes I love those sleepy little moments. It’s the perfect time to get those cuddles in, and it makes for great pictures with Mom <3 Mom (Heidi) went with the flow and we quilt-wrapped them to get some amazing snuggle-time pictures. Heidi is so full of joy don’t you think? You can just tell from her maternity session pictures she loves life and her family.
When we first moved to the area from Menifee, CA The one thing I missed was that off-shore & on shore breeze. My wind chimes would sing to me through my open windows and front door… ahhhh. Then we moved here and zilch, nada, NO BREEZE! I realized after we bought our house on a hill, it was because we’d originally moved to the middle of town. Now, I know. There’s a breeze in East Texas. And sometimes it’s more of an outright WIND. I have to tie my wind chimes up now with a rubber band, and I’m constantly picking up my chairs and putting them back on my porch. I love the Mineola Nature Preserve, but DANG it can get wiiiindy there! The limitless views have their downside.
But we rolled with it, and I love the way the wind made Heidi’s gown flow. And once the sun went down the “breeze” calmed down a bit too. I’m so thankful for this beautiful location and the amazing people I get to meet; like Heidi, her husband and their daughter Harper!
I hope you’re always full of joy, beautiful Heidi! It is infectious!
