I am in love with this Spring Family Session at Tyler Rose Park. Every year I gift my Stepmom a family session for her birthday in the Spring  And our plans were to do the session in April at Dogwood Park in Palestine, when the Dogwoods were in bloom.  Neither of those things happened, and we found ourselves at the end of May with no blooms in sight.

They were prepping for a two week trip to the Inland Empire in Southern California; and I wanted them to leave with their updated family portrait in hand, to give to their friends and family while they were there.  In a mad-dash to style their session, we headed to the Tyler Mall; where we found both of Ashley’s dresses.  Then we headed to Target for her girls super-stylish-and-not-too-princess-y outfits.  My Dad was easy to shop for; two new shirts and he was good to go!

At some point we started discussing a new location, and I suggested Tyler Rose Park.

It was BEAUTIFUL!  Of course the people have a major part to play in how a session goes, but this location is EVERYTHING y’all!  Tyler Rose Park has easily become one of my favorite spots for Spring Family Sessions AND Fall Family Sessions.  It’s basically gorgeous all year long.
