Well…  I took the plunge!  It’s official – I now have studio lighting!  This sweet baby {Nova} was my first Studio Newborn Session using the new lighting setup and I’m kicking myself I didn’t make the transition sooner!

I love the tones, and consistency.  Not needing to constantly adjust my settings in camera as the day changes.  It’s freakin’ awesome!

And honestly, it was the prefect afternoon to try my lights.  We had a summer storm that day; with dare I say; the heaviest rain all summer.  When it came through at it’s worst – it was incredibly dark in the studio.  But the lights gave me amazing control and this sweet little peanut slept through the whole thing!
